Family Reunions

I am speaking from first hand experience. There is no better place for a family reunion than Camp Weed. We have had five (5) reunions here and each one was perfect for us. Why? What was so special about my experience?

It's affordable.  Its affordable because there are lodging options to choose from that fit the budget of young families and also the older individuals attending. The more mature crowd enjoyed the guest rooms with private bathrooms much like a motel room, while the younger families chose to rent cabins which were priced right for them. 

Meal options made it affordable as well. We have the choice of renting a kitchen and dining room or have the staff at the camp prepare our meals. Our family loves to cook so we share turns cooking meals and to make it especially nice we arrange for the camp staff to do the clean up afterward. Now that is heaven!

When is the best time to have a reunion here? By far, the best time is Thanksgiving weekend. Why? The four day weekend allows for more travel time. Those traveling across country need extra time to travel. Thanksgiving is truly THE family event of the year so why not have your reunion then? It's the perfect time and Camp Weed is the perfect place. The weather in North Florida at Thanksgiving is absolutley wonderful.
