Everyone had a terrific time at Reunion 2007. Enjoy this quote from a letter from
Carter Witt in Japan, a former camper and counselor.
Hope to see you all soon.

"I just wanted to send you a note to say how sorry I am that I can't be there
this weekend. You don't know how much I wish I could....
Yet Camp Weed is the pebble in my shoe. In that I carry it wherever I go. A
little sand from those dusty roads still lines my pockets. Camp Weed (and in
no small measure you and Sharon) have been fundamental to my understanding
of who I am, the world I live in and my faith or search for it.

Like many people I have had deep periods of faithlessness. Like White Lake
my faith has at times dried up only to return again. I have often lost faith
but never the hope. The hope, beliefs and trust in myself, my God, and
people that Camp Weed instilled in me. My memories of Camp Weed and the
people I knew there have sustained me and fed me like the loaves and fishes
for years and years.
